SteelSeries выпустила новую геймерскую клавиатуру Apex M500 с механическими переключателями. В отличие от более дорогой M800 с дополнительными кнопками, нестандартные формы и переключатели QS1, M500 имеет форму и расположение, компактные размеры и более привычные переключатели Cherry MX Red, срок службы 50 миллионов нажатий клавиш. Освещение доступно, но только синего цвета, популярным в последнее время RGB не предусмотрено.
Есть функции 100% Анти-Ghosting собработкой одновременного нажатия до 104 клавиши и кабель управления, которая позволяет пропустить под клавиатурой еще пару шнурков, например, от гарнитуры.
